21 Stunt Bikers bike seized, 05 Booked… Kishtwar Police.

“`In a bid to curb stunt biking menace and save thẻ precious life, Kishtwar Police arrested 21 stunt bikers and seized the bikes, who were performing dangerous stunts, scaring other road-users.

The arrested bikers were seen riding their bikes with just the back wheel on the grounds and performing other dangerous stunts, scaring other road users.

Acting swiftly and stringently police teams of PS Kishtwar constituted headed by Insp Abid Bukhari SHO PS Kishtwar did strenuous efforts and after timely intervention finally nabbed 21 stunt bikers and seized their bikes.

In this connection some bikers are booked under relevant sections of law and investigation taken up and some bikes were seized also under relevant sections of MV Act at PS Kishtwar.

Moreover, Kishtwar Police strictly warns those misguided youths not to engage in such life threatening acts like bike stunts which can cause risk to their lives as well as the commuters

SSP Kishtwar also appealed such parents who let their underage children to drive scooties/ motorcycles etc to refrain from such negligent acts . He further said that the drive will continue till the violators get channelized to follow the traffic rules.

Jammu, January 10, 2022: ADGP Armed J&K Shri S.J.M Gillani-IPS issued promotion orders of 179 Police Personnel of IRP-25th Bn. of U.T of Ladakh having their lein and seniority with J&K Armed Police.
Among the 179 promotees, 38 Head-Constables have been promoted to the rank of ASI, 45 Sg.Constables have been promoted to the rank of Head-Constables and 96 Constables have been promoted to the rank of Sg.Constables.
The promotion orders were issued by Armed Police Headquarters J&K Jammu after the Departmental Promotion Committee headed by ADGP Armed J&K found them fit for next promotion in light of prescribed promotion norms. The DPC headed by Shri S.J.M Gillani-IPS ADGP Armed J&K as its chairman comprised of AIG(P) PHQ J&K Ramesh Kumar Angral-SSP, DDP APHQ J&K Mohd Shafi Rather, DySP (Pers.) Abdul Hamid, SI Krishan Saroop Rathore, ASI(M) Morifat Ahmed, ASI(T) Satesh Bansi Koul and HC Firdous Ahmed.
The promotion cases of eligible personnel of IRP-25th Bn. of UT of Ladakh were processed by Armed Police Headquarters J&K Jammu in pursuance to orders issued by Govt. of J&K under Circular No.20-JK (GAD) of 2021 dated 19.06.2021 r/w S.O No.428 dated 21.12.2021.
