SSP Shopian inaugurates CCTNS lab, Office for retired Police Officers at DPL Shopian
November 22: “`In order to review the welfare measures and to redress the grievances of retired Police Officers, SSP Shopian Smt. Tanushree-IPS inaugurated office for Police Retired Officers Association Non-gazetted at DPL Shopian. Besides, inaugurated CCTNS lab in the premises of DPL.
The inaugural function was also attended by ASP Shopian Shri Ifroz Ahmad-JKPS, DySP DAR DPL Shopian and other Police officers.
Representatives of Police Retired Officers Association were also present on the occasion. SSP Shopian said that the retirees are always welcomed for their valuable suggestions and there is great respect for them in the Police organization as they have rendered a long service and toiled hard to earn a name for the organization.
SSP Shopian also said that J&K Police is always at their disposal and asked the members present on the occasion that not to feel inaccessible as they are still part of Police organization and they can approach any Police officer or Police unit at any time.
Police Retired Officers Association wholeheartedly thanked SSP Shopian for operating the office for them.
Later, SSP Shopian also inaugurated CCTNS lab at DPL Shopian. SSP Shopian emphasised upon all CCTNS operators to adhere the guidelines and instructions regarding filling of FIRs and other details in the software on real-time basis without any delay.
SSP Shopian urged upon the officials that the details with regard to process of investigation should also be uploaded immediately so that a transparent e-policing can be provided to the general public as envisaged under CCTNS project.“`

DE&CC Kishtwar organises Awareness cum Registration Programme at Chatroo, Kishtwar
Kishtwar,23-11-2022.
District Employment & Counselling Centre (DE&CC) Kishtwar today organised Awareness cum Registration Programme for the youth here at Tehsil Office Chatroo (Inderwal).
The event was conducted to take a follow-up of B2V4 programme wherein educated youth has shown Keen interest for various self employment schemes.
Programme was organised specifically for those Youth who were registered during B2V4 from different panchayats of Tehsil Inderwal.
Various Govt. Self Employment Schemes specifically Mission Youth Schemes like Mumkin, Tejaswini, Spurring Entrepreneurship Scheme, Rise Together, Tourist Village Programme (Home Stays) etc were discussed in detail in the today's event.
On the occasion, AD Employment, Amit Kumar (ALC Kishtwar) highlighted various Mission Youth Schemes with the participants.
Employment Officer, DE&CC Kishtwar Waseem Hassan also explained in detail various Schemes and their criterias, procedure to apply for the Scheme.
Youth were also informed about different training programmes and start up ideas by making
Mr. Vijay Kumar, Young Professional (MCC Kishtwar).
The event ended with onspot registeration of interested youth under Mission Youth Schemes.

As per the information received from the districts, out of a total number of 94,839 cases taken up by 119 Benches in the day long National Lok Adalat at various courts across the UT of J&K, 83,082 Cases were disposed of and an amount of Rs. 128,62,87,728/-was awarded as compensation/settlement in different cases.
