Saroori demands adequate stocking of ration, fire wood, K.oil in far flung areas of J&K

Kishtwar, November 14: Former Minister and Senior Azad Party Leader, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori has demanded availability of adequate quantity of essentials at CAPD sale outlets in Marwah, Warwan, Chattroo, Mugalmaidan, Sigdi, Kuchal, Kwath, Dacchan, Thakrai, Keshwan, Chandali, Sarthal, Trigam, Patnazi, Bunjwah, Kahara, Bhalessa, Jakyas, Saroor, and Ghan villages of Kishtwar and Doda districts.

Saroori has urged the Lieutenant Goveror and his administration to meet the required stock of Ration, fire wood and kerosene oil in district Doda and Kishtwar during this harsh winter season.

The former Minister who met several delegations from different areas was apprised by the people that sufficient supply of Ration, fire wood and kerosene oil is not available in several parts of the districts whereas winter season has already set on. He was informed by the people that the people in remote areas are not getting necessary permission for falling dry trees as a result the residents are facing hardships.

Saroori said that there is a dearth of ration in several villages and calls for take urgent measures to mitigate the problems. He urged the Lieutenant Goveror and his administration to provide sufficient quantity of fire wood, ration and kerosene oil in the far flung areas of the districts.

He urged CAPD department to ensure adequate availability of wheat, Atta, rice and other essential commodities in all parts of Chenab Valley for the convenience of the people. He also urged Chief Secretary J&K to personally monitor the ration supply to far-flung and remote areas so that the poor people living in these areas get hassal free supply.

Saroori further urged PDD authorities to ensure scheduled power supply to the consumer. “The people should not face any inconvenience on account of power during winter”, he said and added that due care should be taken to check power pilferage.

Earlier in a function at his residence Kishtwar, many joined Azad Party in the presence of Senior Azad Party Leader, G. M Saroori from Inderwal constituency of district Kishtwar. Newly entrants while reposing full faith in the leadership of Saroori pledged that they will take the party programmes and policies among the people. Saroori while welcoming all these people in party fold congratulated them on taking the decision to join Azad party and assured them that Azad party will leave no stone unturned to come up to the expectations of the masses. Saroori assured that the party would always stand behind them and would provide all possible assistance to mitigate and solve public grievances of their respective areas.
