B2V4:DC Kishtwar presides over the Gram Panchayat proceedings at Panchayat Lachkhazana, Block Kishtwar

Multifarious activities marks the culmination of 3rd phase of B2V4 at Kishtwar

The mega public outreach programme under the 3rd and last phase of Back to village edition 4th concluded successfully today here at District Kishtwar under the Overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav.

During this phase the Visiting officers (VO) were welcomed by people of 27 Panchayats of District Kishtwar. Besides the programmes witnessed greater participation of people from all walks of life.They put forth their issues and grievances before Visiting officers which were recorded by the respective VO for further redressal.

Besides the progress in the implementation of beneficiary schemes and ongoing developmental works were meticulously observed and recorded by VO in these Panchayats.

Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav-IAS today presided over the Special Gram Sabha proceedings of last leg of B2V4 programme here at Village Indranagar of Lachkhazana Panchayat of District Kishtwar.

ACP Kishtwar Zakir Hussain Wani,ACD Atul Dutt Sharma,AO DC office Kishtwar Imran Ahmed Kichloo, Visiting Officer, Mahesh Dass, DG Accounts and Treasuries besides frontline workers of various departments and local PRIs remained present in the Programmes.

During the programme,DC Kishtwar urged people to ensure their greater participation in the ongoing Back to village programme meant to assess the achievements under development works projected under various schemes during previous B2V.

He said that main aim of B2V4 is to give flip to the developmental tempo of rural areas. He added that B2V is an opportunity to project their issues and grievances, the same be listened and recorded by Visiting officers for further sharing with the concerned higher ups for Redressal.

During the Special Gram sabhas held here, the Gram Panchayat Development plan ,GPDP 2023-24 was given a final touch in presence of locals and PRIs.

During the programme DC kishtwar in presence of PRIs, Visiting officer and other officers conducted Mahila Sabha and listened to the grievances and issues of women folk.
The various initiatives of govt to ameliorate the issues impeding the empowerment of Women section by women centric welfare schemes were also highlighted during the Mahila sabha.

DC Kishtwar assured for extending every possible help to them under self employement schemes.

Meanwhile DC Kishtwar along with ACP,ACD,AO DC Office and Visiting officer visited the proposed site for installation of Solid Waste Segregation plant in the Panchayat.

He directed the revenue authorities to fast track the process for the setting up of SWS plant so that panchayats can be blessed with permanant assets.

During the 3rd phase an array of activities were conducted across the 27 Panchayats of district Kishtwar which included public interactions,conducted of Gram sabhas,Bal sabhas, awareness camps for CSS and Poshan Abhiyan, Mutation Camps, distribution of land Passbooks, soil health cards,Disaster Management Kits,agriculture seed balls,Sports kits, Preparation of list of 15 unemployed youth for self employment schemes in each panchayt,Inspection of developmental works,PMAY houses, IHHL units, jkbank,Khidmat centres,AWCs, HWC,schools,Panchayat Secretariate, installation of complaint boxes, checking of MDM,Inauguration of Kindergarten,Rural Haat, different works,passenger sheds completed under B2V3, establishment of Senior Citizens club, Administering pledge on water conservation,Nasha Mukht Bharat,Beti Bachao Beti Padhao,Swachhata, Social audit of CSC, organising cultural items, painting competitions, ekta pledge and ekta rally,talent hunt,inspection of Amrit Sarovar,inspection of panchayt Ghars,senior citizen club and distribution of sports kits,sports competition,registration camps organised for e-Shram and saturation of CSC golden cards,awareness on online services ,inspection of ration depot,ICDS centres

Training on registration of births & deaths on CRS portal imparted to New Registration Functionaries of District Kishtwar

A Day-long training program on registration of births and deaths on the civil registration system was today organised here for the Registration Functionaries of stakeholder departments in Kishtwar District.
The event was presided over by the District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav IAS.
Among others who remained present on the occasion were Joint Director Planning Mohd Iqbal,SDM Marwah Dr Mohsin Raza,DPO Sunil Bhutyal, District Statistics & Evaluation Officer Akhil Thakur,CMO Kishtwar, Assistant Director,
Directorate of Census Operations J&K Manmeet Singh, Medical Superintendent District Hospital Kishtwar, all Block Development Officers & BMOs, Master Trainers besides field functionaries of Health centres.
At the outset, Assistant Director,
Directorate of Census Operations J&K Manmeet Singh informed that Civil Registration System (CRS) is a single platform for documenting vital incidents of birth, death, still-birth as well as their parameters in a continual, permanent, mandatory, and universal manner.
Detailed deliberations on the future roadmap for shifting to online registration through Web Portal of ORGI (Office of the Registrar General of India) for Registration of Births and Deaths and action required to be taken by the line departments for implementation of the Civil Registration System was held during the training program.
During the course of programme, the duties and responsibilities or each of the Registration functionaries was highlighted.
Emphasis was laid on organising public awareness campaign and steps for shifting to online registration through CRS portal.
Addressing the event, the DDC elucidated the need for implementation of Civil Registration System- Registration of Birth & Death Rules- 2022 in the district and said that the data provided by a thorough and up-to-date CRS is critical for socioeconomic modeling.
He also highlighted the use and purpose of Birth and Death Certificates along with the importance of recording the occurrence and the characteristics of the vital events which is subsequently used to study the demographic profile and other features.
In his address, the DDC underlined the role of local registrars and areas falling within their jurisdiction for issuance of Birth and Death Certificates followed by imparting training to the Master trainers/ participants for switching over to the online Registration of Birth and Death through CRS Portal.
During the question answer session, all the queries of the registration functionaries were satisfactorily answered by Master trainers.
Pertinent to mention that the major change introduced in the registration process is that Block Development Officers (BDOs) have been designated as registrars in Rural Areas instead of SHOs of Police, whereas CMO (District Registrar) and Executive Officers of ULB continue to be the Registration Authorities.
DESO who is designated as Additional District Registrar have been authorised to give permission for delayed registrations after 21 days but within 1year.

Budgam police solve Hit and Run case within 3 hours. Accused arrested, Vehicle seized
Srinagar Nov 12 : Police on Saturday arrested Accused in a hit-and-run accident in Harkarmulla area of Budgam in central Kashmir’s Budgam district in which one girl aged about 15 years was killed.
in a statement they said that Police Post Soibugh received an information at about 10:30 hrs that a RTA took place at Hakermullah Budgam in which an unknown vehicle hit and injured a pedestrian namely Iman Gulzar age about 15 years, daughter of Gulzar Ahmed Hajam resident of Harkarmulla Budgam. Accordingly, injured was taken to JVC Hospital for treatment where she succumbed to her injuries.
In this connection, a case FIR number 381/2022 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Budgam and investigation taken up.

DODA POLICE DISPLAYED PHOTOGRAPHS OF POLICE MARTYRS AT PROMINENT PLACES AS A MARK OF RESPECT AND TO PAY HOMAGE
Doda Police, today on 30th of October 2022, displayed Photographs of Police Martyrs at various prominent places in Doda town as a mark of respect and to pay homage to the Martyrs besides remembering their bravery, valor and supreme scarifies for the integrity and prosperity of the nation. The event was organized as a part of a series of events to observe Martyrs week.
On this occasion, floral tribute was paid to the Police Martyrs by prominent dignitaries of Doda viz DDC Chairman Sh. Dhanater Singh Kotwal, DDC Vice Chairperson Smt. Sangeeta Bhagat, DC Doda Sh.
