ADG Jammu Zone visits Border area & interacts with IPS officers undergoing Army attachment

Jammu October 20th:- On 19th October, Shri Mukesh Singh-IPS ,Addl. Director General of Police Jammu Zone, visited the Border area in Akhnoor Sector and interacted with IPS officers undergoing Army attachment. In his address to the probationers, he urged them to take this opportunity to understand the conditions under which security forces guarding the border operate. He also asked them to make full use of this army attachment period to improve their tactical and operational skills to be ready for their field assignments.
Mr Singh told the probationers how the synergy between the Army and other security forces and intelligence agencies helps to bring down terror activities thereby creating an atmosphere of peace.
Mr Singh also appreciated the efforts of the Army authorities to take care of IPS probationers and to acquaint the probationers on border issues and associated security concerns.
In the end he wished them all the best for their future assignments.

In order to redress the grievances of people at their door step, a camp was held on Wednesday at Panchayat Patnazi-B of Tehsil Bounjwah, wherein Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Kishrori Lal Sharma (JKAS) listened to the grievances of the people.
During his visit he was accompanied by Tehsildar Bunjwah, Naib-Tehsildar Bunjwah and other revenue officials.
On the occasion, individuals and public deputations led by PRIs put forth issues and demands for augumentation of power,water supply, road connectivity and basic amenities.
Besides demand for ST hostel, issues of JJM schemes and land compensation to beneficiaries renovation of School buildings and Health institutions and other specific issues were also highlighted in the programme.
After listening to the demands and issues of the locals, the Additional Deputy Commissioner assured the public that all their genuine grievances shall be redressed in a time bound manner.
He appealed the PRIs and masses to join hand with administration and actively participate in the Nasha Mukht JK Abhiyan and other government schemes.
Besides ADC Kishtwar disbursed structure compensation to 20 structure owners whose structure have come under the alignment of Patnazi to Kither Road and distributed Land passbooks to several landowners of the area.
The public of the area thanked ADC Kishtwar for conducting camp in such far-flung area.
