Commerce and Chemistry Departments of GDC Kishtwar organised an Industrial Tour/field visit for college students

Department of Commerce in coordination with Department of Chemistry of Government Degree College Kishtwar today organised an Industrial Tour/field visit for their students to Industrial Estate at Sangrambhata, Kishtwar.

The students alongwith faculty members reached there and interacted with the General Manager(GM), District Industries Centre Dr Mohd. Ashraf, the professionals and workers working at the site.

GM,DIC encouraged students to start their own business. He also briefed over the role of District Industries Centre in facilitating new start ups by providing them land, material and financially assistance. These students also came to know about various schemes provided by the government,how to manufacture qualitative products at reasonable prices, how raw materials are procured, how accounts are maintained etc.

The organisor of the program were HOD, Department of Chemistry, Umer Din Rather and HOD Department of Commerce Lt.(Dr.) Madhu Bala. This program was further coordinated by Teaching Assistant Shoket Ahmed and Lab Assistant Nishu Kumari.
