

DC kishtwar flags off three fresh ALS specified 108 ambulances for Massu, Drabshalla and kishtwar area

With an aim to augment the healthcare infrastructure and to provide better healthcare facilities to the people of the district, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok kumar Sharma today flagged off three fresh Advance Life Support (108 service) ambulances from DC office complex.
The DC enquired from the CMO about the facilities intact in the ambulance, besides sought details about the staff who shall run the machines during the emergency time.
The CMO informed the DC that all requisite emergency machinery including ventilator etc are fitted in the ambulance. Besides, there is an emergency dealing technician in each ambulance outsourced by the company.
In addition to this CMO apprised the DC that these three new ALS 108 ambulances shall serve in Massu, Drabshalla and kishtwar area.
Among others present were CMO kishtwar Dr R.S Manhas,Dy CMO Dr Balbir Singh , Area Operation Manager viqar lone, besides other concerned were also present.
