DDC kishtwar presided over the Weekly block diwas at Nagseni

Listens to the grievances of people and resolved many of them onspot

Apprised the local PRIs about the component wise allotments under Area Development Plan for Keru HEPP

District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Kumar Sharma today presided over the weekly block divas held at the block headquarter Nagseni and listened to the grievnaces of people besides enlightened the local PRIs about the allotments under various components of Area Development Plan in Keru Hydro Electric Power Project.

Chairperson Block Development Council Nagseni Mohd Ashraf Choudhary,DDC councilor Nagseni, Faisal Hussain Choudhary,ACD Kishtwar Atul Dutt Sharma,DPO Kishtwar Sunil Bhutyal,DSWO Kishtwar Tariq Parveaz Qazi besides PRIs of various panchayts and various district officers remained present on the occasion.

During the programme PRIs apprised the chair about various demands and grievances regarding the upgradation of local infrastructure including the upgradation and Macadamisation of roads , restoration of water supply, electrification of various habitation in various Panchayats, repairment of School building,inclusion of beneficiaries in Awas Plus, etc.

Other issues likewise inclusion of left out beneficiaries under RR plan of Keru HEPP,sanitation of Keru market,ATM at padhyarna,provisions of internet facility to make the online revenue services streamlined, compensation of fruit bearing and non fruit bearing plants, Black-Topping of upper-Dool road were also raised in the outreach Programme.

After giving patient hearing DDC redressed many grievances on spot and documented rest of demands for further forwarding to the concerned quarters for immediate redressal.

He passed a slew of directions to the Tehsildar and BDO Nagseni to take periodical review of the grievances raised by public for effective and accountable monitoring of the deliverance system.

On the issue of the Employment in Hydro Electric projects of Kwar and Keru,he assured that locals/youth will be absorbed on priority basis of their skill and qualification.

He said that in this regard, district administration is going to conduct the skill enhancement programme for youth in the district on mission mode basis.

While apprising the locals and the PRIs about the component wise allotments under Area Development plan in Keru HEPP, DDC Kishtwar gave a detail description about the various components and the works to be taken under these components in project affected area and for the project affected families.

He urged the local PRIs to work in tandem with the concerned officers to chalk out a comprehensive developmental plan on rational basis by identifying the developmental work to be taken up under ADP So that the local infrastructure in the education, health,road sectors is upgraded with utmost priority under the ADP.

Stressing on the upgradation of the building in the PHC Keru, DDC Kishtwar assured the public that the the work of 2nd story will be taken up on priority which will augment the infrastructure need of the life line project in the area.

He directed the concerned executing authorities to submit the DPR for the same so that the work shall be taken up immediate basis.

During the outreach programme, he also exhorted upon the officers and the field functionaries of various departments to deliver their services with utmost dedication so that the delivery mechanism is run on a hassle free manner.

Besides, BDO Nagseni was directed to ensure the presence of the block level officers in the Block Development Council meeting.

Meanwhile Tehsildar Kishtwar was directed to make regular inspection of the PHC Keru to ensure the proper functioning of the PHC which is the life line of the area.
