Red Cross Society & DIC Kishtwar launched Awareness cum Mask and sanitizers distribution drive in Kishtwar

Kishtwar, Friday 14:

In order to prevent the spread of Covid-19, today District Red Cross Society Kishtwar in collaboration with District Information Centre Kishtwar launched Awareness cum face masks and sanitizers distribution programme in Kishtwar on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Ashok Sharma and under the supervision of District Information Officer Kishtwar, Tariq Parveaz Qazi.

During the special drive,Secretary District Red Cross Society Kishtwar, Asgar Ali Sheikh, Volunteer Red Cross Society Kishtwar, Shahid Hussain and employees of DIC Kishtwar namely Manoj Kumar and Subash Chander distributed face masks and sanitizers among the patients/attendants at District Hospital Kishtwar and among shopkeepers/ drivers/passengers at Dak Bungalow Kishtwar.

The common masses, shopkeepers, eco/Sumo drivers, hawkers and pedestrian were asked to adopt COVID appropriate behaviour.

“Avoid crowding, wear face masks and maintain social distance,” the people were also instructed.
