Also administered Swachhta Pledge, Started Shramdan (Cleanliness drive ) at Chowgan Ground Kishtwar

Kishtwar, 13 September: On the directions of DYO Doda Khushal Gupta today Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) Kishtwar organized an awareness programme at Wasser, Kishtwar on cleanliness and Sanitation
besides started Shramdan (Cleanliness Drive) at Chowgan ground Kishtwar.

The awareness programme at Wasser was presided over by Block Development Officer (BDO) Mughalmaidan Arun Badyal besides Sarpanch Lachkhazana Ranjeet Singh; Sarpanch Padder, Jigmat Narboo;
Ex. Sarpanch, Khusi Ram; Physics Lecturer Manoj Badyal besides local youth of the area remained present and the programme were well- coordinated and managed by National Youth Volunteers Veena Kumari and Rihana Banoo.

The participants was administered the Swachhta Pledge and the Voulnteers of the Nehru Yuva Kendra told that all of us should take this responsibility to make our surroundings clean and give the best possible contribution to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

Shramdan (Cleanliness Drive) was also started at Chowgan Ground Kishtwar along with local youth of Kishtwar with an aim of generating awareness and greater public participation towards cleanliness.

BDO Mughalmaidan Arun Badyal and Sarpanch Lachkhazana Ranjeet Singh also spoke on the occasion and were made aware about the benefits of cleanliness and sanitation on health and the environment.

NYK Volunteers while speaking on the occasion highlighted the role of Nehru Yuva Kendra among the youth and appealed the participants to shun the use of single-use plastic and go for eco-friendly alternatives to single-use plastic to keep the environment clean, neat and green and spread this messages among all their known ones.
