Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kishtwar Sham Lal today chaired the meeting of the concerned officers here, to take stock of the status on the restoration works and rehabilitation activities undertaken in State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) in the cloud burst and flush flood hit areas of the district.

The meeting was attended by the DFO Kishtwar Sagar Singh, DFO Marwah Vijay Singh,ACD Kishtwar Kishore Singh Katoch, Xen PMGSY Mohinder Singh, represtatives of PHE, PDD, PWD besides other concerned officers and officials.

At the outset the ADDC inquired from all concerned departments the progress of the restoration of the damaged infrastructure caused due to flush flood during the intervening night of 27th and 28th july 2021.

ADDC also reviewed the rehabilitation activities in the Paddar, Dachhan and Bounjwah areas of the district Kishtwar.

Feedback was received and a slew of directions were issued in favour of concerned departments to plug in the gaps.

All the departemnts were asked to work in a collective and responsible manner to bring the tangible result for the relief and mitigation of inflicted households in particular and affected areas in general.

During the meeting, the house also decided that Sub-Division wise and Tehsil-wise committees are hereby constituted for physical verification and inspection of work restored by concerned departments and work-wise detail of on-going restoration works shall be forwarded to the concerned committee for the verification besides the committees were asked to furnish their reports within ten days.

Besides the detailed discussion on the SDRF guidelines were also held in the meeting.
